Assembly & care
A few easy minutes.
Your NOL arrives with the Skin and pre-filled Core packed separately inside one box. Bring them together like a pillowcase, then give each part the care it needs.

Each clip loops the exact movement, so you can follow along without replaying the full video.
01 — Meet your Skin & Core
Open the main box and take out the separately packed Skin. Inside, you’ll also find the compressed Core protected in its brown fabric bag.
02 — Fluff, rest & connect
Remove the Core from its fabric bag, fluff it like a pillow and let it expand for 30–60 minutes. Turn the Skin inside out, find the detachable zipper at the bottom and connect it to the Core.
Tip: The zipper is inside the Skin, on the side opposite the velcro.
03 — Pull the Skin into place
Turn the Skin right-side out as you pull it over the Core. Work upwards gradually, tucking the Core inside as you go.
Tip: Match the corners first, then pull the Skin up—much like putting on a sock.
04 — Close
Tuck the Core fully inside, align the opening and secure both the velcro and zipper. Give your NOL a final shape.
Make it yours
Move more foam towards the taller end for back support. Press the centre down for a deeper seat and let the sides rise naturally.
Corners and against the wall gives you much better back-support. There is no single perfect shape. Adjust it until it feels like yours.
Living with your NOL
01 / Skin
The Skin is the removable outer cover—the colour, texture and character of your NOL.
Remove it from the Core before cleaning.
Follow the care label for its specific fabric.
Wash separately with a gentle detergent.
Close the zipper and velcro before washing.
Let it dry completely before fitting it again.
02 / Core
The Core is the inner liner, already filled with shredded PU foam.
Do not wash or soak the filled Core.
Keep it away from rain, moisture and liquids.
Lightly spot-clean the liner only when needed.
Let the area dry fully before replacing the Skin.
Fluff it occasionally to redistribute the foam.
Every few weeks
Shredded PU foam naturally settles with use. Place your NOL on its side, press and roll the Core gently, then stand it upright and move the foam back towards the taller end.
Good to know
The Core is compressed for easier shipping, so it may look flatter than expected when first opened. Fluff it generously and leave it uncovered for 30–60 minutes while the shredded foam expands and air moves back inside.
The foam may not have finished expanding before the Skin was fitted. Remove the Skin, fluff the Core again and let it reach at least 90% of its full shape before refitting the Skin.
We recommend waiting for about an hour. Leaving the Core uncovered allows better airflow, helping the compressed foam loosen and expand faster. Once it feels fuller and more evenly distributed, you can fit the Skin.
This usually happens when the Core has not fully expanded or the foam has not been shaped towards the taller end. Let it expand completely, then stand your NOL upright and move more foam towards the back to create its supportive pyramid shape.
Yes. Shredded PU foam naturally settles and softens with regular use. This is normal and does not necessarily mean that the foam has been damaged or lost.
Place your NOL on its side, press and roll it gently to loosen the foam, then give it a generous fluff. Stand it upright and move more foam towards the taller end for stronger back support.
Fluff it whenever the seat begins to feel uneven or less supportive. A quick reshaping every few weeks helps redistribute the foam and keeps your NOL feeling balanced.
There are two comfortable ways to use it:
Switching between the two positions occasionally also helps redistribute the foam and lets you find the comfort that suits the moment.
